Remove the four 9.5 mm Phillips #0 screws from the back of the device.

Remove the silver button plate by gripping one of the corners and pulling up.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

Hi,
Cobra SPX 7800 BT - Radar Detector
Does anyone know where could I purchase or look for a replacement screen for a Cobra SPX 7800 Bt detector, mine came with several cracks on the bottom right hand corner. It works, beeps ok, no color screen display and therefore unable to change settings.
