Chumby One Motherboard Replacement

Remove 4 self-adhesive plastic dots covering the screw holes.

Remove the four 2mm screws with a Phillips screwdriver.

Remove the back and bottom cover.

Disconnect the battery connector from the motherboard with a plastic opening tool.

Disconnect the microphone connector from the motherboard with a plastic opening tool.

Remove the display ribbon cable from its socket with a plastic opening tool.

Remove the volume knob from the side of the Chumby One with a plastic opening tool.

Remove the four 6mm screws using a PH000 bit on the inner chassis.

Remove the inner components from the outer shell.

Remove the speaker connector using a plastic spudger.

Remove the Chumby button connector using a plastic spudger.

Remove three 6mm screws using a PH000 bit.

Remove the motherboard by pulling straight away from the housing.
