To open the remote control you need a circlip caliper (in german: Seegerringzange ;).

The forks of the tool are moving away from each other, when you pull the handles together

Place the tool in the indentation.

The forks moving direction has to be perpendicular to the gap of the case .

prie one side open then do the same on the other side

Place the new battery in the mounting

Check Polarity! Negative pole is facing you.

Carefully put the case together

Cover old battery with duct tape and take care of the disposal.

Be happy an drive safely, because you're done!
