Introduction
This guide provides the proper steps to ensure that the battery of the Casio Exilim EX-Z80 camera is safely removed and properly replaced. If you have a faulty battery or are simply setting up your device, read and follow these steps carefully. The battery can only be inserted in one direction to allow the camera to power up. If the battery is not inserted correctly, the camera will not power up or function.

Locate the battery compartment at the bottom of the camera.

With your thumb, gently press down on the compartment door and slide to the left to open.

With your index finger, gently pull back gray release lever for the battery to pop out.

Gently pull the battery out of the slot.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
