Introduction

This guide will show you how to replace the buttons on your Canon Powershot SX150 IS. You can use this guide if any of your buttons no longer work.

What you need

Locate the battery cover on the bottom of the camera.
Slide the battery compartment cover the direction the arrow is pointing to open the compartment.
Remove batteries.

Remove the two, 2mm screws from the top of the screen. Using the J000 screwdriver.
Remove the 3, 5mm screws on either side of the camera. continue to use the same screwdriver from step 1.

Remove the two, 4mm screws from the bottom of the camera. Continue using the same screwdriver from step 1.

Remove back plate from the camera and locate the orange button plate to the right of the screen.

Once the back plate is removed. Locate the buttons to the right of the screen.
Using the tweezers carefully lift up the tabs connecting the buttons to the button plate.
After lifting the tabs the buttons should come right off, then replace with the new button.
