Canon PowerShot SD1000 Back Panel Replacement

Introduction

Go to step 1 ↓

The back panel of the Canon PowerShot SD1000 protects the internal components and adds to the overall aesthetic. Over time the back panel may receive wear and tear, cracks, and other damages that need replacement. Properly replacing the back panel increases the lifespan of your camera.

Before using this guide, please look over the back panel for corrosion or metal shards. This can cause a safety hazard when opening the back panel. If found, please wear protective gloves to avoid direct skin contact.

This manual will show you step-by-step instructions for replacing the back panel, safety precautions, highlight tools needed, and tips to achieve a professional result.
