Introduction
Go to step 1 ↓Replacing the battery is very simple and relatively non-invasive. If the battery has sustained corrosion or is simply not charging, replacement becomes necessary.
In this guide, you will learn how to replace the battery which is responsible for powering the camera.

Turn the camera over with the bottom facing toward you.

Place your thumb on the compartment labeled "card/batt open" and slide it outward and up, exposing the battery.
