What you need

      • Turn off the washer dryer and unplug it before cleaning the drawer or cavity.

      • Keep hot, soapy water away from the controls and plug, and dry your hands before reconnecting power.

      • Gather a brush, hot, soapy water, and a non-scratch sponge.

      • Have a small wire, dental brush, or small brush ready if the spray holes in the drawer cavity are blocked.

      • Clean the filter every 3 to 6 months to help prevent an E03 error.

      • Inspect the empty drawer cavity for mold, detergent residue, and residue.

      • Block the hole in the cavity before using a brush inside the opening.

      • A dropped brush can fall into the machine and be hard to retrieve.

      • Dip a brush or larger brush in hot, soapy water and scrub the cavity.

      • Use plenty of hot, soapy water to remove mold and residue from the cavity.

      • Use a small wire to clear any blocked spray holes at the top of the cavity.

      • A dental brush or small brush can also help clear the small holes.

      • Laundry pods go straight into the drum, so they may help keep the drawer area cleaner.

      • Open the door and check the door seal for lint, fluff, mold, and residue.

      • Lint can build up inside the door seal because this machine also tumble dries.

      • Scrub the door seal with a non-scratch sponge and hot, soapy water.

      • Use a wet/dry vacuum nozzle to remove fluff and lint if the door seal is completely dry.

      • Keep sharp tools away from the rubber seal so you don't cut or tear it.

      • Clean the rubber until the fold is free of lint and visible residue.

      • Reconnect the washer dryer and make sure the dispenser drawer is fitted.

      • Run a hot hygienically fresh washing program with no clothes in the drum.

      • Use the washing machine's service wash or hygiene cycle if it has one.

      • Low-temperature washes may not kill bacteria and can leave the machine smelling bad.

      • Let the cycle flush the machine before washing clothes again.
