Braun Aromaster KF440 Base Replacement

Introduction

Removing the base is necessary in order to reach many of the other major components of the coffee maker.

What you need

  1. Braun Aromaster KF440 Base Replacement, Access the base: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Remove the carafe (coffee pot) from the coffee maker.

    • Turn the Braun Aromaster KF 440 upside down so the base is exposed.

    • Locate the nut at the center of the base and unscrew it with a pair of basic pliers.

    • Gently lift the cover away from the bottom of the coffee maker and remove it.

Can’t remove nut. Soooo small. Plus, clockwise… Or counter clockwise?

Das Problem istnicht die das Entfernen der Mutter wie beschrieben, sondern die Schraube die nur mit einem Spezial-Schraubenzieher geloesst werden kann. Und den gibts nicht zu kaufen. Oder?

Die Schraube hat ein ungewöhnlichen Kopf mit nur 3 Nuten. Wieso verwendet der Hersteller solch eine schwachsinnige Schraube.

Demnächst gibt es eine EU Richtline, die die Reparierbarkeit von Geräten fordert. Hoffentlich hört so ein Unsinn dann auf !!!
