What you need

Step 1 charging port

flip the speaker over onto its back, then open the rubber covering the battery.
unscrew the battery using your screwdriver. carefully disconnect the battery from the motherboard.
be very careful not to damage the connector.
when replacing the battery, re apply the adhesive strip.
leave the battery aside.

Step 2 front and back grill

carefully using a spludger, pry up the rubber holding the grills in place. then pry off the grill.
Be very careful with the grill as they bend easily.

Step 3

using your spludger, carefully disconnect the ribbon cable connecting to the motherboard.
be very careful not to damage the connector.

Step 4

carefully remove the charging port assembly.
be VERY careful not to damage disconnecting the ribbon cable from the connector.

Step 5

carefully pull out the charging port assembly.
be Extremely careful when attaching the new port to the assembly.
when replacing the port assembly, add the adhesive under the port.
