Bose QC 30 power button Replacement

What you need

    • Use a utility knife to carefully cut and clear the area around the power button. You will see a small hole with a black contact point inside.

    • Insert an earring back into the hole so it presses directly onto the black contact point. A flower-shaped earring back works well. You can also use a round one with a small raised tip, trimmed to the correct depth if necessary.

    • You can fill the hole with Sugru. Or cover the button with a silicone headphone protector; This can also help extend the life of the headphone surface. Or simply hold the earring back in place with tape.
