Bosch EasyPump self-discharging - workaround

Introduction

Go to step 1 ↓

I´ve got a Bosch EasyPump which discharges itself.

After one day, the battery is so low, it won´t charge via USB-C.

This is a possible workaround. The real cause is not known.

      • Because the Bosch EasyPump discharges itself, I´ve measured the power consumption and found something astonishing.

      • - If the pump is disabled via the power button, about 25mA continue flowing.

      • - If the pump is not switched off, but left until auto-power-off triggers, only about 3mA continue flowing.

      • I could not find the real cause, but for me it´s a work-around to not switch the device off via power-switch, but leave it on until it powers itself off automatically.
