How does the fan blade come off

Darcy Lee - Reply Share

Darcy, there are a lot more steps for that. You have to pry off the grey ring around the motor housing, then unscrew the housing. Once you are able to remove the motor assembly from the rest of the vacuum, you flip it over and the fan blade is a flat disk mounted on the opposite side of the motor drive. Carefully pry it out. (A step by step with pics would help make a lot more sense of this.)

The thermal fuse cannot get it from B&D.

I have a bad one the vacuum starts and stops. Where can I buy the fuse?

George Chryssanthou - Reply Share

@fixit_18 you cannot replace the fuse. This device is not intended to be repaired. This tutorial is useless as parts are not available. Anyone who has one of theses knows it and will likely have to fabricate their own replacement parts…… I need a battery and will be building one from scratch….
