  WARNING: Ensure the lawn mower won't turn on before starting this repair guide.
  
  Remove the battery by pulling the release and sliding it out.
  
  Pull out the safety key.

  Remove the grass bag and fold the handles.

  Turn the lawn mower onto its side.

  Caution: Put on your safety gloves to protect your hands before working with the blade.
  
  Lock the old blade in place by putting a block of wood (or equivalent) on the right-hand side, between the blade and the deck.
  
  When loosening the bolt, the blade moves around. This block of wood ensures that it stays locked in place.

6. Step 5
  Using an adjustable wrench or a socket wrench, remove the bolt and washer in the old blade by rotating counter clockwise.
  
  Remove the old blade.
  
  Ensure there is no debris preventing the blade from rotating.

7. Step 6
  Insert the new blade by aligning it with the mounting holes.
  
  Place the block of wood (or equivalent) between the blade and the deck on the left-hand side.
  
  Insert the washer and bolt through the blade and tighten it into place by rotating clockwise.
