Introduction
Go to step 1 ↓Over time the filter may become extremely dirty or it might have been damaged accidentally. This guide will demonstrate how to replace the filter.

Position the SmartClean so that the Bissell logo is facing towards you backwards.
Ask FixBot

Flip the handle away from the cover.

Lift the handle up to open up the dust bin.

Use your finger to hook the filter through the opening near the center of the filter.

Gently yank the filter out with your fingers.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
