BLU Life XL Speaker Replacement

Turn the device off by holding down the power button for up to 5 seconds and then tapping the "Power off" button on the screen.

Remove the rear cover using your hands at the lip on the device back cover. No tools required.

Remove the battery by lifting the lower edge of the battery up first.

Remove twelve 2.1mm Phillips #000 screws from the rear plate.

Use an opening tool to separate the rear plate from the phone.

Firmly press the opening tool into the gap between the front glass and rear plate. This gap is located on all sides of the phone.

If the opening tool is not working, try using your fingernails on the side of the phone. Once a small area of the rear plate is released, continue to use the opening tool.

Run the opening tool around the entire phone separating the rear plate from the frame.

Gently flip the tan cable lock back to release the ribbon cable from the lower PCB Board.

Using a spudger, gently pull the ribbon cable from its socket.

Remove the 3mm screw from the PCB using a Phillips #000 screwdriver.

Locate the speaker and connected haptic motor on the lower PCB of the phone.

Using an opening tool, lightly pry around all edges of the PCB until it releases from the adhesive backing.

Use the same process as above to remove the Haptic motor. It has the black and red wire connected to it and the PCB.
