Asus X515 Ram Replacement

Introduction

In this guide I will show you how to remove the RAM from your ASUS X515 laptop.

    • Power the laptop down and unplug all of the cables.

    • Flip over the laptop.

    • Remove the 10 phillips screws from the bottom of the case.

    • Using a prying tool pry the bottom of the case open.

    • Locate the battery and its connector.

    • Using your fingers or a prying tool pull up on the connector to disconnect it.

    • Locate the stick of RAM.

    • Using your fingers, pull the metal arms on the sides of the RAM away from it.

    • The RAM will face upwards.

    • Remove the RAM from its slot by pulling it out.
