What you need

    • Remove the nine 1.2mm Phillips screws that secure the lower case.

    • Use a plastic opening tool to open the components of the laptop. In order to do this, insert the plastic opening tool in between the two covers then pry open.

    • Remove the seven 1.2mm Phillips screws that secure the battery.

    • Use an opening tool to the plastic opening tool to disconnect the battery from its motherboard socket.

    • Lift the battery up and out of the chassis.

    • After replacing the battery, attach the wire ribbon to the motherboard and screw the designated screws back into the battery to secure it
