Using the Phillips 1 screwdriver, remove the laptop's back panel.

The parts you see underneath that panel are called the laptop's "internals".

The battery will be easily visible towards to top of the internals. It is a long, black rectangle marked "Li-ion". Notice that the battery is currently secured by three screws. We will need to unscrew them in order to remove the battery.

You will notice that there are two gold screws and one silver screw holding the battery in place. Using the Phillips 1 screwdriver, remove the silver screw.

For the gold screws, pliers may be necessary. Be careful not to cut yourself on them; they can be finicky.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
