Introduction

Replace a broken hard drive or upgrade your hard drive to increase your storage space.

What you need

1. Step 1 Hard Drive
  Before disassembly, make sure the laptop is powered off and the battery is disconnected.
  
  Remove the two screws (size?) on the lower panel at the bottom of the laptop (identify tool to use).

2. Step 2
  Grab the panel and lift upwards while pulling towards yourself.

4. Step 3
  Remove the 3 4 mm Phillips upper screws holding the hard drive down.

5. Step 4
  Pull the hard drive towards yourself to disconnect it from the laptop.

  Lift the hard drive upwards to remove it from the laptop.
