Asus UL30VT-X1 Battery Replacement

Introduction

Use this guide to remove and replace a defective battery in the Asus UL30VT-X1. This guide will not require any tools or toolkits from iFixit.

What you need

  1. Asus UL30VT-X1 Battery Replacement, Battery: step 1, image 1 of 2 Asus UL30VT-X1 Battery Replacement, Battery: step 1, image 2 of 2

    • Flip the laptop over onto the back. (Second Image)

    • Locate the two battery locks. (First Image)

    • The battery lock on the left will need to be unlocked first which is done by pushing the lock to the left. (Second Image)

    • A red line should show which indicates it is unlocked.

    • Unlock the right lock by moving it to the right while simultaneously pushing upwards on the battery.

    • The battery should slide out of place.
