Before you start: unplug the laptop from its power cable and shutdown your device off. Now you're ready to replace your speakers and get great sound quality again!

Use an opening tool to remove each of the two rubber feet near the laptop hinges.

Remove the two 3.2 mm-long Phillips #0 screws that secure the battery.

Disconnect the battery connector cable and the speaker cable from their motherboard sockets.

To reassemble your device, follow the above steps in reverse order.
Take your e-waste to an R2 or e-Stewards certified recycler.
