Introduction
The Asus K55A-Si50301P RAM Replacement Guide explains the tools and processes used to replace/remove the RAM. RAM can become faulty from the manufacturer or could be damaged when put into its slot on the computer. If the RAM is damaged the computer will not be able to power on if you have one slot used or limit your ability to multitask if you have multiple RAM slots used. Press and slide the two battery retention clips on either side of the battery towards the unlock position.
Ask FixBot

Pull the retention clip on the left hand side of the laptop away from the battery.

Gently pull the battery out with your free hand.

Using the iFixit opening tool, gently pry the plastic cover away from its original position.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
