This guide will show you how to replace or remove the keyboard on the Asus Eee PC 1000HA.
What you need

Remove the battery before working on your device. See this LINK for a step-by-step guide.

Insert the metal spudger under the keyboard.

There are 3 clips located under the keyboard that hold the keyboard in place.
Ask FixBot

Once all 3 of the clips are unclipped the keyboard will pop out.

Pull the black tab out to fully remove the keyboard.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
