Introduction
Use this guide to replace the LED indicator on the Anker Soundcore Q20i. The LED is the small light used for power, pairing, and charging status. It sits near the side button controls between the ear cup cover and the motherboard. The top of the LED fits into a holding slot in the ear cup cover that keeps it aligned with the outer light opening, while the bottom rests on the motherboard contact pads inside a small holder that provides the electrical connection. Because the LED is held in place by the cover and makes contact through the motherboard pads, it can be removed and replaced without soldering. In this guide, the LED is replaced with the same part from another used Q20i device to keep the repair simple and low cost. Before starting, power off the headphones, disconnect all cables, and work on a clean surface.
