This guide will show you how to replace the headband on the Anker Soundcore Life Q30 Headphones. The headband is the plastic piece that runs along the top frame of the headphones. The headband can be damaged over time, so replacing it lets the user continue wearing them with the same level of comfort. During this process, it will be important to not disconnect or damage the wire that runs under the headband.

Unscrew the two 9.5mm screws from the interior side of the headband using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

Use the opening tool to pry off the exterior covering of the headband.

Slide the headband off the lateral extension of the headphones.
Take great care to avoid tearing the connecting wire that runs along the headband. Doing so will render the headphones unusable.

Orient the headphones such that you are looking at where you originally removed the covering.
Unscrew the 2 visible 5.7mm screws on each side using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

Slide off the metal part of the headband from the plastic casing.
Take care not to disconnect the wire.

Gently bend the headband back and forth to loosen the cushion.

You can now remove the headband by gently peeling it off of the frame.
