What you need

    • Unplug the device from any outlets to ensure that the device is completely powered off while disassembling the device.

    • Using the metal spudger, insert it into the seam between the outer shell and the base of the Amazon Echo Glow. Break open the glued seal that holds the outer shell to get into the device.

    • This step requires a bit of force to cut through the factory seal adhesive glue.

    • Work the metal spudger through the seam all the way around the device until the outer shell is completely loose from the base of the device.

    • Fully remove the outer shell from the Amazon Echo Glow.

    • This will expose the motherboard. Be sure that the device is completely powered off before proceeding.

    • Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the five screws securing the motherboard.

    • Remove the motherboard.
