Begin by opening SD port cover as this is the best location to start prying.

Use the plastic opening tool to pry around the edges of the back cover until it pops off.

Tool used on this step:Tweezers$4.99

Disconnect battery by pulling up on the ZIF connector with precision tweezers for safety.

Solder the wires off of the motherboard with a soldering iron while holding the wires with the precision tweezers. For information on how to solder safely and correctly go to this link: How To Solder and Desolder Connections
