Introduction
If your Alcatel Lively Jitterbug Smart3 is failing to maintain its charge, draining rapidly during use, or refusing to power on despite being connected to a functional charger, the battery has likely reached the end of its life cycle. Over time, these batteries lose their capacity to hold a charge effectively. Replacing the battery is a straightforward way to extend the usability of your device and restore its original portable performance.
Safety Warning: Make sure the device is fully switched off and unplugged from any charging cables before starting this repair. If battery is swollen or leaking; applying heat or too much pressure could cause a thermal incident.
What you need

Insert a Jimmy into the indentation on the bottom corner of the device.

Gently lever the cover upward, working around the edges until the back cover releases.

Lift the cover off and set it aside.

Remove the nine 1mm screws using a Phillips #0 screwdriver located on the back frame.

Detach the battery's ribbon cable from the motherboard.

Gently lift the battery upward until it pops out.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
