Introduction
If your Alcatel 1B 2020 has trouble turning on or staying charged, it may be due to a dead battery. Battery performance decreases over time, which can cause the battery to no longer hold a charge. If the battery in your Alcatel 1B 2020 is dead, it will need to be replaced with a new battery.

Make sure to power off the phone completely and disconnect the charging adapter before beginning the battery replacement or working with any internal components.
What you need

Insert the opening tool into the seam between the back plastic case and the front screen.

Slide it around the edge of the phone to release the clips holding them together.

Remove the bottom case by hand.

Place the pry tool between the bottom of the battery and the bracket.

Lift the battery using the pry tool to remove it.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order. Take your e-waste to an R2 or e-Stewards certified recycler.
