Symptoms to Replace:
- Physical Damage:
- Display is cracked or shattered.
- Display shows sign of pressure damage, which can result in the laptop’s screen having black/discolored spots.
- Internal Damage:
- The screen flickers, flashes, or shows distorted images.
- Uneven brightness or sections of the screen are not displayed properly.
- Backlight failure, where the screen is very dim, but faint images are still visible.
- No Display/ Black Screen:
- The display remains completely black even though the laptop is powered on.

Before you begin the repair, power off your laptop and disconnect the charger or any peripherals.

Completely shut down and power off the laptop.

Make sure the charger is disconnected from the laptop.

To reassemble your device, get the bezel and align it with the laptop screen. Use slight force to secure the bezel throughout the whole parameter of the laptop. With this, the laptop will have a screen replacement.
Take your e-waste to an R2 or e-Stewards certified recycler.
