      • Before proceeding, power down your Laptop and remove the power cable.

      • Close the display and lay it on a flat surface, top-side down.

      • Unlock the battery by sliding the battery lock to the unlock part.

      • Slide the middle lock to the right and the battery will pop up.

      • Once the battery hatch is unlocked you can now safely remove the battery.

      • Use a Philips J1 driver to remove eight screws securing the bottom case.

      • Remove all of the 8 screws. After that you are in.

      • After the previous step, remove the ram by pushing the pins holding it outwards.

      • If you need to change your memory and nothing else then now is the time to do so. The Acer Aspire 8735G takes DDR3 SO-DIMM ram, upgradeable up-to 8GB.

      • After that the pins jump up and you can carefully remove the ram.
