Introduction
Go to step 1 ↓Since I kept having issues with the ink cartridges and kept coming across notes online that printers save cartridge numbers and such, and then block them, I wanted to look for a hidden menu where these numbers could be cleared. After just a few attempts, I stumbled upon this way to access the secret support menu.
Unfortunately, I could not find a menu item where I can edit anything.
But you can read out various things, e.g.:
Cartridge number
Cartridge region
Ink level
etc.
Tests can also be performed, e.g.:
in the printer test menu, the nozzles of the inserted cartridges can be tested.
But take a look for yourself and leave a comment if you have any further findings.
The problems with the 3-color cartridge were suddenly gone, by the way. I can't say why, however. I could not establish a connection between the submenu and the problem.
