Introduction
You will need to open up the phone in order to be able to detach the back cover and replace it. This repair might be needed if there is no ring coming from the phone.
What you need

Open up the phone with a metal spudger, sticking it in the bottom near the cord jack entry.

Pull up on the spudger while simultaneously pulling up the top shell of the phone.

After unclipping the bottom half of the shell, pull upward from the position shown in the picture to detach the top half of the shell.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
