Introduction
This guide will walk you through how to remove/replace the battery from an ASUS K553MA-DB01TQ laptop. In order to access the battery, please refer to the keyboard removal guide. As with any electronic device, the device must be turned off and the battery must be taken out before more technical repairs are attempted.

Turn the laptop over. Using the Phillips Head 000 bit, remove the four 4.8mm screws from the bottom edge. Use the same bit to then remove the remaining six 9.5mm screws.
