Introduction
If your ASUS Chromebook Flip C214MA will not charge, will not hold a charge, or does not power on without being plugged in, the battery may need to be replaced. This guide will show how to safely remove the internal battery so it can be replaced with a new one.
Before starting, make sure the device is completely powered off and disconnected from any external power source. You will also need to remove several screws and disconnect internal cables, so work on a clean, flat surface to avoid losing small parts.
This guide only covers battery removal. To reassemble the device, follow the steps in reverse order.
