    • Tug the Spark Plug Cap from the top of the Spark Plug (between the OHV housing and the exhaust manifold) with your hands to remove it.

    • Make sure the engine is turned off and cool to the touch before completing this step.

    • Using a ¼ “ socket and Handheld Ratchet, loosen the three screws holding the Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield on.

    • Once the Heat Shield is removed, grip the Spark Plug’s threaded diameter with an Adjustable wrench and rotate counterclockwise.

    • Alternatively, you may use a 5/8" wrench or 5/8" deep socket along with a handheld ratchet.

    • Remove the Champion RC12YC Spark Plug from the device.
