Introduction
Usually, whenever the battery inside a remote key dies, users will go to their dealership so that they can place a new battery in for you. They’ll replace it and charge you anywhere from 10 to 20 dollars just for putting in a new one and it doesn’t take them that long to do it, but you have to drive back home after you finish. So, you end up wasting more of your time and money. In this guide, I will save you time from driving to your dealership and back, and also spending a ridiculous amount for such a small fix you can do at home for a lot less.
Note: You don’t have to buy a special kind of tweezers, you can just use one that you have at home as long as it fits into the notch.

Insert tweezers into the notch where the key was.

Apply a small amount of pressure to the tweezer, so you can use them to pop the plastic layer open.
