Roku Indoor Camera 360 SE (CP1000X) - Speaker Replacement

Introduction

This guide covers removing the speaker from the back panel of the Roku Indoor Camera 360 SE (model CP1000X). The speaker is secured to the ABS plastic housing with a tannish white rubber adhesive.

Prerequisites

Complete the Back Panel Replacement guide first.

What you need

Plastic spudger

Tweezers or small flat-head screwdriver

X-Acto knife or thin razor blade

Isopropyl alcohol (90%+, optional for cleanup)

Silicon Sealant

Step 1 - Disconnect the speaker plug

Locate the small JST-style plug on the main board (DF3-MCU-501-V2.3) where the two black speaker wires connect. It is on the left side of the green board, near the base pan motor. Using tweezers or a plastic spudger, gently pull the plug straight out of the connector. Do not pull by the wires.
