Background and Identification

Ultrasound Generators are used in Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL) treatment to get rid of kidney and bladder stones. The generator sends sound waves through the patient’s body to locate the stones. These sound waves have enough energy to break the stone into smaller pieces, which will move through the urinary tract more easily.
