The Suzuki SJ410 featured a 1.0-liter (970cc) four-cylinder engine, known internally as the F10A. This overhead-cam (OHC) engine was a smaller, eight-valve predecessor to the 1.3-liter unit found in the more common Suzuki Samurai (SJ413) models seen in the United States. In its standard factory configuration, the F10A produced approximately 45 horsepower and 55 lb-ft of torque.
