Precision Medical PM14 PM14E Repair

The Precision Medical models PM14 and PM14E are oxygen concentrators sold by Precision Medical. An oxygen concentrator is a medical or industrial device that concentrates the oxygen from either ambient air or another gas supply. Oxygen concentrators selectively remove nitrogen and other gases from the air to provide an oxygen-enriched stream. Precision Medical Inc. is a company that produces medical devices, especially respiratory devices.

The Precision Medical PM14 and PM14E oxygen concentrators can produce between 15.8 and 34.5 liters per minute of oxygen. The output pressures range between zero and 60 pounds per square inch. The gauge is typically accurate to about three pounds per square inch.

Precision Medical recommends checking the air inlet filter on top of the cabinet at least once a week to check for dust build-up. The filter can be washed in warm soapy water and rinsed to remove dust. Troubleshooting information can be found on page 9 of the device’s Operation and Service Manual.

The Precision Medical PM14 and PM14E models include a carrying handle for transportation. An air inlet filter is located on the top of the machine.
