GeForce RTX 3050 Repair

The GeForce RTX 3050 is a budget graphics card designed by Nvidia and is only produced by board partners, released on January 4, 2022. The RTX 3050 became available with a 6 GB VRAM version in 2024.

The GeForce RTX 3050 is the most affordable card out of the RTX 30 family and is in general a scaled down version of the RTX 3060, and the card features ray tracing, DirectX 12 Ultimate, DLSS and 8 GB of VRAM.

The graphics chip, the GA106, is built on the same Samsung N8 technology as the rest of is family, with a 276 mm² die area just like the RTX 3060, but with only 2560 CUDA cores, 20 RT cores and 80 Tensor cores, a 30% reduction from the RTX 3060 and only PCIe 4.0 with 8 lanes compared RTX 3060's 4.0 with 16 lanes.

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 features multiple graphic card partners and vendors with different specifications and appearances. The GPU model can usually be found on the product sticker, often on the GPU's backside.
