Identification
Identifying a Nintendo product is fairly easy. Each generation of TV console has a unique look, as well as its brand/model designation right on the unit. On some of the hand-held consoles, however, you'll have to look under the device in order to determine which unit you have. This is not always the case, however. The Nintendo DSi is easily distinguishable from the DS / DS Lite because it has an exterior camera on the top case while also lacking a GBA cartridge slot.

The NES, Nintendo's first attempt at a home console, was first introduced to the United States in 1986.
