Identification and Background
Released in the fall of 2009, the Nikon Coolpix S1000pj is the first camera to feature a built in projector. A suitable camera in its own right, with 12.1 Megapixels and 5x optical zoom, the addition of a projector increases the desire of this camera even more. Capable of projecting from as close as ten inches or as far as six feet, the S1000pj is perfect for instantly sharing images, or for sharing images in areas where a computer or larger screen is unavailable.
The S1000pj can be identified by a square projector lens in the middle of the device. It's label is on the bottom side of the camera.
