Makita is a Japanese power tool manufacturer that was founded in 1915. It is a leading brand of professional-grade tools. This company produces cordless tools, power tools, petrol equipment, and batteries for the cordless tools. The tools themselves range from wrenches and drills to chainsaws and lawnmowers.

This machine is a professional-grade gas powered string trimmer. String trimmers can be used to trim grass and other ground cover, and are often used along the edges of a lawn where a lawnmower can’t reach. Instead of a blade, string trimmers use a tightly stretched filament, or string, to cut the ground cover.

This machine uses a four-stroke engine, which doesn’t require the user to mix oil and fuel to use it, and has better fuel efficiency than a two-stroke engine. However, four stroke engines aren’t always better than two stroke engines, and which one you should look for in a machine depends on what the application of the machine will be. For a detailed explanation of two-stroke engines vs four-stroke engines, you can see this explanation by the Chainsaw Journal.
