Background

The G502 Lightspeed is a wireless gaming mouse released by Logitech in May 2019. The mouse is the wireless version of its predecessor, maintaining the unique shape and look while being upgraded with Logitech's Lightspeed technology. The mouse has an array of programmable buttons and Lightsync technology for the RGB lights. The G502 Lightspeed has the Hero 25K sensor which features sub-micron tracking. This mouse is aimed at gamers, and is known for its precision and unique look.

Identification

The G502 Lightspeed mouse has a unique look, with pointed left and right click buttons and squared-off features. The left side of the mouse has an array of buttons—crosshair, G4, G5, G7, and G8—and the top has the scroll wheel, wheel mode toggle button, and battery status (G9). The bottom of the mouse has "G502 Lightspeed" printed on it, and a removal panel for weights. By removing the circular door on the bottom (which is secured with two small magnets), you can find the model number MR0076 as well as the part and serial numbers.
