The Lenovo ThinkPad x13 yoga Gen 1 is a multipurpose convertible business laptop released in July 2020 and was discontinued in April 2024. The Lenovo Thinkpad x13 yoga Gen 1 is known for its premium thin and lightweight carbon fiber and magnesium chassis design, that features a 360-degree hinge and includes an integrated stylus that recharges inside of the device. This version of the Lenovo laptop features a 10^th Gen Intel core processor for better performance than its previous designs. The Lenovo Thinkpad was reported to have thermal issues. The device was said to run hot constantly(>80c) requiring a thermal paste replacement. This device was discontinued due to Lenovo releasing a newer generation with a more powerful hardware, better battery efficiency, and a updated chassis design leaving the Gen 1 outdated.

The Lenovo ThinkPad x13 gen 1 t features a 4k 13.3 - inch screen with touch screen capabilities and 360-degree hinge that lets it lay flat. It also has a physical shutter for the webcam. While it may look similar to other ThinkPads, it can be separated by its black color scheme, and unique keyboard design. A part of this keyboard design is it also has a TrackPoint, which separates it from other modern laptops, though it has been an issue for many consumers. As well as having function keys specific to this generation, F10 and F11, which are specifically used for answering and hanging up calls. The model number is located on the bottom cover of the laptop, usually listed as "MTM" or "TYPE [XXXX][XXX]".
