Background
The IQ America VD-8810 is a wireless wall-mounted video intercom, released in 2014. The included remote acts as a video receiver, displaying video sent from the camera on the main device. It is capable of initiating two-way conversations and boasts a range of up to 328 ft. It is also capable of taking, storing, and viewing images. For nighttime, the VD-8810 also features an infrared light located just beneath the camera, allowing for clear pictures in low-light settings.
The VD-8810L has been featured on QVC, the popular home shopping television channel.
Identification
The IQ America VD-8810 comes with :
- A rechargeable battery pack for the remote
- An AC adapter
- 4 Mounting screws
- Charging Cradle for remote
The device has a rectangular housing with a metallic finish. The camera is visible behind a clear plastic cover, with a speaker grille and microphone located below it. The IQ America logo is printed above the camera on the front of the device. You can find the model and serial numbers printed on the back of the device.
