Background and Identification

An electrophysiology (EP) test is used to diagnose arrhythmia in a patient who is experiencing cardiac irregularities. During an electrophysiology test, an arrhythmia may be induced in a patient so that their cardiac activity can be observed during a cardiac irregularity.
